All active members must complete one year as a candidate member, prior to being elevated to 活跃会员.

Candidate for 活跃会员: Plastic surgeon who has completed residency and fellowship training and is eligible for board certification by The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) or The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and/or the Corporation Professionnelle des Médecins du Québec. All applicants for active membership must serve as a candidate for a minimum of one year.
也适用于 Military Candidate for Membership 类别. Requires a proof of active military service, such as an active military ID card or the active military service letter.
Resident and Fellows Membership: Includes residents actively engaged in an accredited plastic surgery residency program in the US or Canada and fellows actively engaged in an ACGME accredited or private fellowship in the US or Canada.
Associate Membership: Associate Membership is open to individuals who contribute to the overall body of knowledge of plastic and reconstructive surgery in their field.
Allied Health Affiliate Membership: Allied Health Affiliate Membership may be conferred upon non-physician health care professionals that support the plastic surgery team, 包括, but are not limited to: nurses, physician assistants, research assistants, practice and office administrators and related staff, residency coordinators, surgical technologist and/or assistants.
生活成员: Life Active Members do not pay dues but shall pay an annual fee. Life Active Members may not hold office but shall have the other rights and privileges of 活跃会员.
Life Inactive Members: Life Inactive Members do not pay dues or an annual fee. Life Inactive Members have limited rights and privileges as may be determined from time to time by the Board of Directors but may not hold office, vote or serve on committees of the Society.
Outside the United States and Canada
International Member: Practicing plastic surgeons who have completed three years in practice and is a member of their country's national society.
International Candidate Members: Plastic surgeons who have completed their residency and fellowships, but have less than three years in practice.
International Trainees: 居民 and fellow enrolled in a plastic surgery residency training program or plastic surgery apprenticeship.
Retired International Members: Members who have retired from the active practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery and who so request.
